This was happening to the Sri Lankan people when they carry fatty/oiled foods when they walked near the cemetery or in dark places at night day. A black dog will come behind and try to fetch your food; if you do not throw away your food to that black dog, it will become "Mahasona" and hit your back with his hand. Then it will be the last day of your life.

Mahasona means a devil that the Sri Lankan people believes which was existed and affect their life at midnight when we were alone in dark places and cemeteries.
